Whilst you are active with the Portal we will retain your personal data. If your account is inactive for 18 months then your contact details will automatically be hidden.
If your account is inactive for 10 years then your account contact details will be cleared, leaving your name and organisation against the grant/project for historic record keeping purposes.
Upon request, we will delete your Portal account as soon as practicable.
If you withdraw consent for marketing communications minimal personal data will be kept on a suppression list to ensure you do not receive such communications.
We do not share your personal data from the Portal with third parties, except for those carefully selected third party processors necessary to deliver the Portal services or information you have requested.
Your name and organisation will be shared with other Portal users associated with your grant application/project. You choose how your contact details are displayed to others beyond this.
Within Sustrans your personal data is only accessible by those required to provide you with the Portal services.
If any of your details change or need correcting, then you can edit these in your account or contact us to have these corrected by emailing scotlandportal@sustrans.org.uk.
You can also ask for your account to be deactivated or deleted. You may opt-out of any marketing communications at any time, by clicking on the unsubscribe link in emails, or responding by email with “Unsubscribe”.
If you are unhappy with our use of your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would encourage you to contact us in the first instance so we can attempt to resolve any concerns.
